What a gift it is to understand that God extends His goodness to everyone. His goodness and grace are bestowed upon everyone, even those who do not believe in Him. This demonstrates how overwhelmingly kind and loving our Lord is. To teach your preschoolers that the Lord is merciful to all, play this memory verse game with them.
How to play this Bible memory verse game:
In this game, there are two ways to play.
Number One: Community Workers
assemble a collection of hats and costumes for community workers. You can either create your own costumes or buy some from a nearby party supply shop. Look for costumes for local employees like waiters or waitresses, police officers, firefighters, doctors, nurses, grocery store clerks, and construction workers. Your kids will have more fun the more props you use.
Place all of the costumes in the bucket you’ll use to draw from. Allow a kid to put on one of the costumes and come over. Let’s say you decide on a police uniform. Let the youngster take the stage in front of the class. Then say the following:
Regardless of the child’s name, this is Jake. He works as a policeman. He puts a lot of effort into keeping us secure.
Let’s quote Psalm 145:9, “The Lord is good to all,” to Jake to demonstrate how much God cares for him.
Make sure to include the kids in your recitation of Psalm 145:9.

Number Two: All Around the World
Collect a variety of vibrant images of kids from around the globe. It would be cute to possibly turn the pictures into “popsicle” puppets by simply adding a popsicle stick or tongue depressor to the bottom of the picture. Put all the images in a box or basket with the popsicle sticks sticking out.
Ask a child to come up and pull out a “puppet.” Then say the following:
This is Akiko (pick a name that you think accurately conveys the country of origin of the child’s photograph).) Akiko is from Japan.
Let’s quote Psalm 145:9, “The Lord is good to all,” to Akiko to demonstrate to her that God loves her.
Make sure to include the kids in the Psalm 145:9 prayer.
That’s it! Your preschoolers will have numerous opportunities to learn and recite Psalm 145:19 as a result of playing this Bible memory verse game.
